Synopsis:

Plagued by injuries that come with 17 years of physical and mental sacrifice, Phil Heath stands on the edge of altering the face of bodybuilding history… “BREAKING OLYMPIA” is the feature documentary unveiling the extraordinary life story of seven-time Mr. Olympia, Phil Heath, as he rises through the ranks, battles the scrutiny of the media and takes on bodybuilding’s scariest foes in an attempt to become the greatest Mr. Olympia champion to ever walk the earth.

“Breaking Olympia” marks the third consecutive feature documentary acquired internationally by Universal Pictures, a remarkable feat for an independent Alberta-based company. This latest release follows a string of successful documentaries from the team behind hits like “Ice Guardians” (2016), “Making Coco: The Grant Fuhr Story” (2018), “Inmate #1: The Rise of Danny Trejo” (2019), “Bisping” (2021), and “Thunder: The
Life & Death of Arturo Gatti” (2023).

Score G Productions has earned a reputation for creating spectacular premieres, starting with their record-breaking 3,000-person screening of “Making Coco: The Grant Fuhr Story” at Rogers Place in 2018. The upcoming premiere of “Breaking Olympia” is expected to uphold this tradition, especially with the presence of 7-Time Mr. Olympia bodybuilder, Phil Heath, who will be in attendance. Following the screening, moviegoers can look forward to an engaging Q&A session with Mr. Heath and the filmmakers.
