Current Project

Tales of Wisakedjak (predevelopment) - A continuation of Rlive action/animated stories (aka Raven Adventures) we are developing a new children's series sharing Cree culture, history and language.

Retail Romance (script development) - A coming-of-age romantic comedy based in the 80s and featuring West Edmonton Mall.

Daughters of the Wolf (script development) - Pilot episode is written; this series will be a gritty crime-drama (aka The Sopranos but with an all-female Indigenous gang).

Raven Adventures (prototyping) - An interactive game featuring the loveable Raven from Raven Adventures leading children on a fun journey, while the learn about Indigenous culture, history and language.

AMPIA Member Bio

In 2016, Treaty 6 Productions was created to tell Indigenous stories in an entertaining and educational way. Through a variety of mediums including; web, screen and TV, our vision is to change the way the world sees our stories.

Join us on our journey as we help shape children’s educational programming , change the way we think about missing Indigenous women in our cities and boldly go into the 21st century.

The company is led by Metis Creative Director, Daniel Foreman, and Business Manager/Producer, Sharlene Millang.

Past Projects


Our first feature film, Abducted, was filmed during COVID using an all-Alberta cast, crew and locations. It was funded in part through Telefilm Talent to Watch, and stars Joel Ouelette and Olivia Kate. Steven McMichael was co-producer and stunt director.

Raven Steals the Light was our first live action/animation project, funded through Storyhive, and won "Best Animation" from the American Indian Film Festival.

A Raven's Song is a short film was selected by TELUS in the first round of Storyhive projects and was the first Indigenous-based project created by our team.
