AMPIA’s 2020 Annual General Meeting

AMPIA’s 2020 Annual General Meeting will take place virtually on Saturday, October 24 from 11:00am – 1:00pm. At the AGM, a vote will be held to elect a Slate of Directors, which will be sent out to the membership by October 9, 2019. Additional nominations, endorsed by the signatures of three members in good standing, will be accepted until October 14, 2020.

All AMPIA members in good standing are eligible to run for election to the AMPIA Board. As Canada’s oldest media industry association, AMPIA is dependent on its highly skilled volunteer Board members to provide leadership, direction and mentorship to Alberta’s next generation of film and television content creators, while elevating the skill level of the membership. The term limit for an AMPIA board member is 4 consecutive 2 year terms (8 years) at which time the board member must step down, but is eligible to run for election again following a one year hiatus. Each member is required to act as a Chair or Co-Chair on one of AMPIA’s many committees.

All members are encouraged to run for election by undertaking a few simple steps:

  1. Simply fill out the AMPIA Nomination Form – Click here to Download (PDF  |  Word)
