CTV’s Graham Neil will be sitting down with this award-winning writer and producer (and former Albertan) who has been making a big splash in comedy television. Norm Hiscock will be sharing on his experience in the industry with over 100 delegates, from students to seasoned veterans, as part of the keynote address for AMPIA’s 2nd Annual March Madness Professional Development Day. This session is crucial for writers and producers hoping to break into the mainstream Hollywood market!

Norm has Emmy, WGA and Gemini nominations for writing and is the recipient of the Annie Award (ASIFA), a LEO Award, a GLAAD Media Award and a Golden Globe for Best Comedy Series for Brooklyn Nine Nine.  Norm wrote the screenplay for the feature film Brain Candy and his comedic genius has become viral memes, such as Bobby’s “that’s my purse!” meltdown from King of the Hill.
