AMPIA/CFCN Mentorship Program

The Alberta Motion Picture Industries Association (AMPIA)
and CTV Calgary (CFCN-TV) recognize the important role on-the-job training provides in the development of professionals in Alberta's growing film and television industry.

With the generous legacy of the CFCN Production Fund, AMPIA is pleased to administrate a special annual Mentorship Program, whereby emerging producers are able to obtain "hands on" training experience working with professional, experienced Producers in their chosen area of film and television production. 

The AMPIA/CFCN Mentorship Program awards grants of up to $4,000 per individual intern/trainee per year. Selected individuals are determined by a 3-person independent, arms-length jury, established for this purpose. 

This benefit must be initiated by one of AMPIA's producer members.
